What is a Life Coach?
A Life Coach is a trusted mentor who helps you identify and uncover anything that might keep you from reaching your greatest
potential. It is a supportive non-judgmental one-on-one relationship that helps you achieve what you want for yourself.
What types of people have Life Coaches?
Life Coaches work with people in every walk of life who want to make progress in all areas of their life including relationships,
careers, finances, health and more.
How will Life Coaching help me?
Professionally, Life Coaching can help you make your current job more gratifying, gain better focus on managing your work, and
market yourself more effectively. Personally, a Life Coach can help improve your relationships, resolve ongoing negative
behaviors, improve your overall health, and grow spiritually.
What happens in a Life Coaching session?
The coaching process consists of a step by step approach to helping you identify and reframe your perspectives. It is also helpful
in helping you break negative habits, redefining yourself, and acting in ways that will help you achieve your maximum potential!
Sessions vary based on the client and their individual needs. We will begin with what you are committed to accomplish through
our sessions. Then, we will create a plan to achieve those goals. Together we will acknowledge obstacles, explore alternate
perspectives and work on steps needed to achieve results.
Do I really need a Life Coach? Can't I just do this by myself?
A Life Coach can offer an unbiased and objective perspective that can help you recognize patterns and habits that may stand in
your way. Many people find that a Life Coach can help them be more efficient at work and better realize their potential.
How is Coaching different from therapy?
While the life coaching I provide can be therapeutic, it is not therapy. Coaching is distinct from psychological therapy. While
emotional issues may surface, the primary focus of life coaching is to help you identify goals, achieve those goals, and develop
constructive habits and skills. Coaching does not focus on the past, but rather on what you want now and in the future.
Is personal Life Coaching confidential?
What we discuss will be held in complete confidence and not shared with others. However, our discussions are not privileged for
legal purposes like Clergy and therapists enjoy.
How long do people generally work with a Life Coach?
I suggest clients make an initial three-month commitment and then evaluate progress for continued coaching thereafter.
